Our Ministries

All of our ministries here at Centenary are designed to help us fulfill our mission as United Methodists:  “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” We also have in mind our unique calling to be a dynamic, vital urban congregation in downtown Richmond, serving the diverse, growing population of our city. We aim to find ways to connect the good news of God’s love with the people in our mission field regardless of their educational level or economic background.

Making disciples of Jesus Christ who have claimed God’s love and grace for themselves and who are equipped and empowered to take that love with them to their places of work, learning, and living begins for us in worship.
